When we refer to Product Costs we mean the cost of acquiring to the merchant, in other words what did you pay your wholesaler for it.
For Hellihub, this is one of the most important parameters and together with the Product Sale Price (what you sell the product to your customers excluding tax) they make up the bulk of the profitability formula.
We offer several ways through which you can feed these values to Hellihub.
1. Product Costs Upload #
This form allows you to upload a CSV directly into Hellihub.
2. Store Connection #
If you have added products costs in your Shopify or Magento stores, Hellihub will sync them over and update locally whenever you update your store.
3. Fallback Profit Margin #
For the rare occasion where a product’s cost it not available (you or someone else in your organisation should know all your product costs since you are purchasing them from somewhere) Hellihub will fall back to a default value as a profit margin percentage. This value will be used to reverse engineer cost before performing any profitability calculators and can be set here.
4. Storefeeder Connection #
If you are a Storefeeder user, Hellihub can pull your products costs via API connection and keep them up to date.
